Crane Weighing & Overload Systems

Calibration of Crane Weighing System
with waterbag and master loadcell up to
full scale of crane capacity.

NCS Master/certified loadcells
cover 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 150 and
200 tons.

NCS Industrial and Weighing will convert your crane
application to incorporate either a standard or purpose
build load cell to enable you to view and monitor the
loads applied to the hoists.
Optional wireless transmission of the load values to
large displays, PLC’s or printing devices are available.
Maintenance personnel will be able to access the
instrumentation via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi communication
to reduce downtime and improve safety.
A new direction in crane maintenance is being
pioneered to log all crane activity, including long travel,
cross travel, overload and limit conditions to a database
from which management can download data in graph
and time format at any time to guide scheduling for
preventative maintenance.

This function can be combined with the Crane weighing system by adding the optional outputs on the NCS930 indicator to interface
with the cranes switch gear AFRS crane specification.

NCS Industrial and Weighing has been instrumental in the design of the equipment supplied for Anglos’ Fatal Risk Standards on the overhead crane.

A visual indication of load limits can be displayed via a LED high visibility tricolour robot system. Large display units are also available to indicate load value and can be connected via cable or RF module.
